RAF NewsIn August 2003 Mongoose was appointed by the RAF to take over the advertising sales for RAF News. During our first ten weeks with the RAF we have made considerable improvements in the quality of the advertisements and we have already realised significant increases in revenue. Our first priority with RAF News was to produce new media information that makes a real difference. We have highlighted key market sectors, utilised appropriate research data and produced the pack in a way that will genuinely assist in raising the profile of the journal. RAF News had also been inadequately staffed previously and this had been a primary reason for poor advertising revenues. Mongoose has invested in a full time sales manager who is committed to the development of the RAF News.

We have developed a very successful sales strategy based on building the profile of the magazine with key recruitment advertisers such as Barclay Simpson, Reed Finance and JP Gray. We have also broadened the advertising base and achieved the following:
